Surprise - I'm Real!

I have had a great past couple of days working with clients and potential partners. Last night I attended an ACVB Green event with a new friend who is also a PR consultant. After the event he took me to a gallery opening and introduced me around and then we had desert at a great restaurant downtown. Through the night we found a half dozen ways we could work together, including a client meeting that I had scheduled this morning.

He joined me at the meeting today, which really went well. From there I went to another meeting with an Ad Buying company that is looking to bring Concept Hub, Inc on for a project. When I walked in, on the large computer screen was my personal blog (this blog). That threw me off balance a bit because I realize that my business persona and my personal persona are separate...or so I think sometimes.

I spent 2 hours with the owner of this company exploring all the common connections we have through the city.

The conversation we had with their client regarding the project was about relationships, transparency, authenticity and being real.

I guess that is what you can say this blog is as opposed to the more corporate blog, an insight into who I am, a place to show I am real.

It is similar to hanging out at gallery openings and restaurants after a business networking event, such as what I did last night. This is my place to relax and just chat. Although a reason to blog slips in occasionally, there is no defined purpose for this site. It's just a place to be "real"
