100 Things About Me
Currently a work in progress.
Whatever you think you want to know about me, in no particular order.
1. I was Born on November 2, 1972 at North Miami General Hospital
2. My favorite stuffed animal was a Lamb that I received on my 3rd birthday. I still have it.
3. I described the man I wanted to marry 2 weeks before I met my husband. He was everything I described. We married 3 1/2 years later.
4. I have two wonderful boys, 6 1/2 years apart in age. When I was a child I did not want kids, now I can not imagine life without them. They keep me grounded as well as on my toes.
5. I wanted to be a high school teacher until I became a substitute teacher.
6. I learned to play the Cello in the 7th grade and wish I would have continued the lessons.
7. I started Piano lessons a few years ago and wish I would have continued the lessons.
8. I am currently attempting to master guitar on Rock Band.
9. My favorite female vocalist is Olivia Newton John.
10. I have 2 older brothers and 1 younger half brother.
11. I have always had dogs as pets, except for the cat my husband owned when we met.
12. I was a registered Republican when I was living in FL
13. I never voted for Bill Clinton, but he was a reason I changed my political views.
14. As do most people, I have major issues with public education.
15. I like watching sports and attending sporting events, but I have no energy or desire to be a fan of a specific team or player.
16. I began questioning religious dogma at the age of 4. My oldest son began questioning religious dogma at the age of 4. I was so proud.
17. I was initially drawn to Buddhism because of the idea of reincarnation, or what I consider a "do-over." I wanted to know more because I felt my dad deserved a "do-over" of his life.
18. I find comfort, answers, and companionship in books.
19. My favorite fiction....Poisonwood Bible.
20. My favorite self-help book....Living, Loving and Learning.
21. I was raised to know that all things can be forgiven and repaired as long as there is honesty.
22. I believe you can find answers to all your questions by sitting on the ocean shore.
23.In 10th grade I told my Computer Science Teacher I did not need her class because I would never work in computers.
24. My Computer Science Teacher was the only teacher to take the initiative to call my dad and let him know I was screwing up in school, which made my dad re-focus and could have played a role in me graduating.
25. My first car was re-built for me by my dad and my brother. It was a 1980 Cobra Mustang with a 302 Boss Engine
26. I accidentally outran a cop in that car.
